منظمة البديل الشيوعي في العراق تنظيم شيوعي عمالي منهجه الفكري والسياسي ماركسي مستنبط من “البيان الشيوعي”
As young Marxist students, we had the pleasure, around 2010, of hosting and debating with several representatives of Iraqi communist and mass organizations, such as Muayad Ahmed and Houzan Mahmoud, at conferences organized at Lyon 2 University. The history and current state of class struggles in Iraq were an important topic of discussion, aimed at building a revolutionary movement in our own country. It was on this occasion that we learned of the courageous work of the OWFI under the leadership of Yanar Mohammed, and fully grasped the importance, from the perspective of social emancipation, of building mass organizations among oppressed women. The news of his assassination was a great shock to us. We send our communist greetings to all of Yannar’s comrades and friends.
